Experience the heart of the Casa through our stories.
The Casa is a community center for the poor, because they have nowhere else.
From Bodega Day to Christmas, we celebrate the moments of grace, service, and community that define our mission ...
- The Casa serves a hearty breakfast each morning, usually meat with beans and rice, oatmeal and milk, and always hot tortillas. For many parents and children, this may be their only meal of the day
- People come once a week to receive a bag of groceries on Bodega Day
- Some receive new clothes that have been donated to the Casa
- Visitors may receive soap, toothpaste, shampoo, and other basic necessities
- Medicine and general medical care are given through the on-site medical clinic
- And Fr. Gil Gentile says Mass at the Casa every Thursday via Zoom
All of the services the Sisters provide are funded by your generosity.
The Sisters and the people pray for you, the donors of the Casa every day.
