Donate Goods

You may also donate canned and dried food (unexpired), blankets, shoes, backpacks, socks, etc. (see a more complete list below).

We will gladly accept your donations of:

Canned, dried, and boxed food items (unexpired): Peanut butter, canned evaporated milk, oatmeal, pastas (macaroni, spaghetti), canned corn and vegetables

— canned meat, spam, and tuna especially

Beans, rice (in packages of 5 to 20 pounds, unexpired)

Blankets, sleeping bags, bedding, new or gently used, clean and in good condition

Sheets, towels, new or gently used, clean and in good condition. Toiletries for men and women are also needed, including toilet paper, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo.

New clothes for men, women and children with tags attached, socks, shoes (sorry, we cannot accept used clothing items)

Over the counter medications and vitamins (Tylenol, cough medicine, children’s cold medicine, daily vitamins — unexpired)

New unused toys

School supplies, new

The women also appreciate donations of: fabric, threat and yarn to make items they can sell.

Please place your donations in white plastic bags with “CASA” written on them.

Sorry, we cannot accept any used clothing, used shoes, any type of electrical item, or any building materials.

DROP OFF: Our Lady of Refuge Church, 4226 Jewell Street, San Diego, CA 92109 (corner of Jewell and Oliver Avenue in Pacific Beach)

Donation Times: Sundays 8:00AM – 2:00PM and Mondays 8:30AM – 3:00PM.

Enter the parking lot on Oliver Avenue. In the building on the right, enter the door farthest to the left (says "Casa" on it). You can leave your donations there. If the door isn't open, visit the parish office (blue door) across the alley.
